Noobie here

Did I ever say I was giving an lesson in the English language? I don't believe I did. I did, however, provide a short lesson in Texan. Just sayin' : )

For the record, just giving you a hard time to welcome you to the fold. And Dubz, but he would get worried if we didn't give him a hard time.

DerekH, I got that it was all in good fun. It's all good. What do they say? America and Great Britain are two countries separated by a common language? Now, let a Scot and a Bostonian get together. Who is going to translate that mess? They'll likely end up fighting or closing the bar. Maybe fighting and THEN closing the bar.
Not sure about Saturday. OU is gonna be steamed about Iowa State. On the other hand, UT is playing tough even when they aren't playing good. Not to mention that you never know what is going to happen in Dallas.

Well, you're from the right state at least... I love my Auburn football!
Not sure what my state and Auburn football have in common, but I'll roll with it (See what I accidentally almost did there . . . Roll with it.) I was going to ask your better half if it was Tide or Tigers. BTW, she's pretty enough to be from Texas, and you can tell her I said so. : )

Welcome to our corner of the asylum! Sounds like the right kinda person for this place. As far as questions, we can provide answers, but it will cost you some pics of Becker knives earnin their keep! If you scroll down in the forum, maybe on page two (or you can go to my profile and look at started threads) there is a recent thread about posting pics to here.

Enjoy your stay!
I saw that thread. I noticed you first posted in January 2013. The thread is now four pages. I hate to ask, but since how to post pics isn't exactly the most captivating of reading (unless you are a true geek), are the instructions in the first post still a good way to go? I'm running a Mac, if that makes any difference. Thanks!

Welcome Gun Doc. I lurked for a long time too before jumping in. Still don't post much but get entertained her daily. Thanks all y'all for that. Texas, hell yeah.

There is a recent thread on page two about posting pics from your phone that is probably more current, but either would work.

I was responding in quote to DerekH DerekH 's post! Thanks, I'm sure my wife has seen your post already...

Thanks! We’re a divided household. I’m Tide, he’s Tiger. We love each other too much to fight over football, though. We just sit in our separate corners during the Iron Bowl. :D

You're welcome! In my part of the country, a house divided often refers to UT - A&M. But of course there can be all kinds of versions of a house divided. One of Texas' quarterbacks, Shane Buechele, comes from a family where three older siblings either went to or still attend OU. Go figure.

You and the Medic have it figured out. There are many more important things in life than where you went to school or who you root for.

If it was wasn't for guns, knives, tools, fishing gear, and boats, I'd have a lot more money.

Story of my life too! Throw in cars.

I haven't been here long either but I'll say welcome to you just the same. Every Becker fan needs a 14 and a 16. These are by far my most used Beckers.

(And don't tell anyone here but I haven't bought my 9 yet either).

It looks I'm a bit late to another party...

Welcome, G Gun Doc ! Looks like you are fitting in rather well already. This is one of the best places on the Internet, a lot of fantastic folks here. And the knives... The knives just seem to multiply on their own.
