The confirmation is automatically generated so it leaves the DPxGear site as soon as you hit the button. It appears that the internet and email systems work in strange and mysterious ways.

As I said before if you didn't get a confirmation, it means a speed typer snagged your number. Hunt and peckers are at a disadvantage!

Has anyone tried checking their confirmation email more than once. I checked mine the first time and everything looked ok. It said I would be contacted when it was time for payment. I checked it again a little while later and it said to try again the number I was trying to get was already reserved. Anyone know what the deal is? Did I get one Mr should I place another order. I don't want to accidentaly order two. But I want to make sure I get one.
 
I'm not trying to stir up anything here... just some observations & questions.

I do not understand why the email confirmation is needed. Seems that it makes for more confusion & problems. Why can't the system be set up as a normal ordering system where you confirm your order right on the web page & then get either a confirmation or an out of stock notice right there? That way, if someone doesn't get the number that they wanted, they can try for another one right away. In my case, there were two other numbers that I would have tried for but I had no way of knowing the status of my first attempt. By the time I knew, it was far too late for the other two.

I know it is too late to do major tweeks on the system now but maybe some of these issues can be addressed for future releases.

I haven't tried to re-click on the link after the first time when I got the we'll contact you for payment message. I would imagine the system is setup so that once the item is confirmed it is flagged as taken. The next time the item is requested for reservation it gets an already taken response.

I just tried reclicking confirmation and said the number is already taken. Anyway, the reason I tried is because I was making 100% sure number 85 that I ordered was right handed lol.

Yes. I assumed this much. But if I didn't try to make another reservation for that number, I just followed the link in the original message again, shouldn't I get the same response I did the first time?

I'm just worried that I may have reserved two by mistake.In my earlier post,It said sterile #23,but there was an error.
RYP,If/when you get a chance,just confirm that I only have one reserved.Thanks.

I really don't care how low or high a number I got,as long as I get a smooth functioning,sterile knife,I'm good.:)
 
hello, I had the same problem so I clicked on the contact us link and asked for advice. Mr. Duke was very prompt and helpful. He also helped me to reserve number 24. A question though. Is there anything further I need to do? Will I be contacted later for payment? Thank for any help that is provided.
Addition:
I never received a final confirmation email. Just the one from Mr. Duke about number 24, right hand, Mr. DP being reserved for me. If I need to reserve another one, I will. The number does not matter.
