Nordic BK Knife and tool owners.

I'll be gone for a few days. The bush is calling.. he he.. Need to put the new bivi bag to the test. Maybe i'll bring a cam.. if so the BK-2 and 16 will be in focus. Together with some fish, meat, open fire, nice sun down... Ok that does it.. I'm out'a here..

Have good week everyone

Stay safe

Well..it looks like the Bivi did what it was suppose to.. I'm back and alive..

It's the first time in a long time i've been out and did not do anything.. It was raining from day one till i went back..
So my days went to make a nice fire of wet wood, sharpening both the BK2 and 16 (not that it was needed..but to pass time while the rain was poooooring down)
A bit of fishing.. and well.. The BK16 is better to clean small fish then the BK 2.. guess that came as a bomb...

Not the biggest challange for the knifes ...or me.. But then again.. I'll find my way out again soon.

Ps. I was thinking about getting the BK5 ..or/and BK15 Anyone have any experience with the 2 of them?

Hi, I am Norweedish too. My Norwegian lines go back to Gjovik, Norway, where my grandfather was from.
My grandmother was Swedish.

Norweedish :-) Good word/name for the mix. :-) We call the the swedish.. " Søta bror" It means "Sweet brother". Fnny enough when you think about the old days and the wars between us. Today the only war is with jokes about each other.. But the best part is that there is a publisher that has a book (or 10 ) with jokes about Norwegians.. sold in Sweden.. and the same publisher has that same book in norway.. with the SAME jokes about the swedish. - Ps. Gjøvik or Gjovik as you said.. it's a nice place. Have you ever been there?

From Sweden, just saw that my first Beckers a BK 14 and 15 are done in customs so early next week I will have a few in my collection.

There is definitely Norwegian blood in this American Mutt (my maternal grandfather was Norwegian).
