One last knife for this year! :) And I can finally put down the hammer, for a few days ;)

It's a nordic style knife with a few innovations, not tipical from me.
The over all length is 32.5 cm.
The blade is 19.5 cm long, 3 cm wide and 4.5 mm thick. It is forged of S80 and L6 tool steels.
The handle is copper, bone, oak and leather.

330 dollars, paypal and postal fee included! ;)

Sold!

One of the few knives I've seen on here that made me audibly "ooooh".

Great work!

Thanks,
Alacrity

beautiful knife and sheath. how do you do those leather thong wraps on the handle and sheath?

Thanks, but what does perkons mean?
I first came across this word when chatting with Jakobs from John Neeman when he was doing a sheath for the Scandi knife.
It was this very same knife:

The logo, as they called it as Martin represents light and fire (in Baltic it's known as Jumis) in Latvian folklore.

As i dug deeper,i found that many engravings resembled the pattern that you have on your sheath and handle and the closest i could come up to was:

Doesn't it look very similar to the Perkons, better known as God of Thunder or Thor?

This Perkons thing is very intersting! :) I must dig a little deeper in the matter.
The wrap is called the hangman's knot - I think  It ain't too complicated too make, but it is quite usefull
