Nor'easter Starts Tonight

The news is calling for 2 to5 inches of snow with rain and high winds, here on this side of Lake Ontario. It looks like the worst of it will miss us. i hope you guys down state and along the east my best wishes, be safe

BFD so far here on Long Island. Moderately heavy rain and not a heckuva lotta wind.

Here in Southern Maine, we had about 2" snow this afternoon, now at 9:45PM Sunday, it is a slow rain.

Still raining here in south jersey.

Lotsa flooding, creek in my backyard is very swollen.

No real heavy wind to mention, I thought that was going to be the worst part of it.

You guys make this storm seem like no big deal. But according to CNN, there's quite a lot of flooding in and around NYC, and there's something like 300,000 without power. N.J. and W.V have declared states of emergency.

I hope you Northeast types of doing OK....

its just some rain and snow-when the earth moves we get scared-a little weather dont bother us

If it doesn't kill us Long Islanders...it's no big deal. ;)

Just giving you a chance to test out your BOBs and PSKs. I get it. ;)

This is the only forum on the internet where, I think, people take advantage of big natural events as a kind of recreational activity.... :D

CNN makes a big deal about everything :D
(they sell fear)
Lots and lots of rain, my car learned to swim on the Grand Central Pky yesterday.
Otherwise no biggie in my slice of the Big Apple.

S**t happens. :D Deal with it.

Hey, did those folks in Boston really hold their big 26 mile run in the wind and rain yesterday? If so, there must have been a lot of miserable people there!
