Norlund Hatchet Help Needed...

Does anyone know where I can purchase a handle for a couple of Norlund hatchets. The current handles are about 10" long, measured from the head.

they won't be in the same pattern as Norlund, but look at hardware stores or farm type stores. you may have to sand or rasp/file the handle down to fit the eye of the hatchet. if you want a nice small handle like the norlund, take up wood carving or find a craftsman. they had their own kinda unique shape.

You ought to be able to buy a 12 inch handle which will give you about 10 inches out of the head
