• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

I have no way of weighing the head alone, but IIRC it was sold as a 5 lb (2.27 kilo) axe. Total weight is 6.4 lb (2.9 kilos), so that sounds about right (handle is not original). Mine, however, is 8.5" (21.6 cm) edge to poll. Other dimensions are the same as yours.

I think you'll be happy with it. I used mine recently to split up some maple from a tree I had taken down. I only had to use a wedge for the largest pieces.

iSaur thanks for the post and yes it does look exactly like yours the weight seems right . I couldn't find much about them on the net thanks again for your time and pics your axe looks almost new should serve you well thanks slipp
