Several years ago I acquired a knife marked "North and Prater". I was told that it is a custom made knife, but I know nothing of the company. It is a straight knife, about 10 inches long, with a bone handle. The blade is engraved with the name of "North and Prater" on one side, and on the other it is marked "7-90" and "4-019". The brass end cap on the handle has "NP" engraved on it. My knowledge of knives is limited to Cold Steel and a few of the other big names in the industry, so I know nothing about this knife. Any information on my knife would be greatly appreciated.
