Pictures added.

Just prior to my father's passing away, he gave me his hunting knife. He had it built by a knife builder in the St. Maries area of Idaho. I am considering having one made similar to it for my son and would like to have it done by the same person if possible. If you know anyone in the area, please forward contact information to me at ethornburg@cwcmh.org
If you are a knife builder from that area and remember a custom job done for Ed Thornbrugh please email me and we can arrange to meet.
Thank you.

Be sure to let us know the results.

Also, do you have any pics of the knife?

Moving to shop talk. Hopefully one of the folks there can lend a hand.

Thank you again.

I don't have any pictures yet, but I will experiment with the scanner and backcloth. maybe someone will recognize the work.

The second picture is hard to make out, but there is an engraving of a bear in the woods. The other side is engraved with "Ed T" under a tree.

The blade is scuffed and the knife has been used quite a bit. I have skinned two elk with it and it is a fine knife.

Ed T - You inspired me to revive this post to answer a question that has been going around for years.

The answer is YES!
