North Star kydex?

Does anyone do a good, secure kydex sheath for the BRKT North Star? Is it even possible, given the seamless transition between blade and handle?

Reid at Sharpshooter Sheath Systems (www.sharpshootersheaths.com) dis a great job making a kydex sheath for my NorthStar and OMF knife. They fit perfectly with absolutely no play at all.

Good kydex benders can get retention on just about anything. I've seen Normark's kydex bic holders that grab 1/3 of a bic lighter where there is no change in texture or elevation.

Fortunately there are lots of good benders around here. Normark - On Scene Tactical, Kiahs, Survival Sheath Systems, JeffH to name a few.

Hey DRMUDD,

What is the cut out on the OMF knife for? Does it expose the spine so that you can spark a ferro rod without unsheathing it? If so, does the kydex withstand the heat okay?
