Marco,
If I lived in Arlington, I would definitely make the drive. I live in Glenpool, OK. (suburb of Tulsa), and am still considering driving down there. I here it is a small show. I know Gene Osborne (knifemaker) is planning on setting up there. Bailey Bradshaw (knifemaker) said he will be visiting the show with show promoter Chris Carlson. I to would love to know who else is going.
Here is a website that has some information. I may drive down and visit the show. It is 4 hours for me each way, so I have not yet decided www.tmtd.com/knifeshow.htm
Thanks Lynn for supplying the web site. I was just about to do that. Darrell Lewis and his wife (good people) are very interested in promoting knives, knife making and collecting in Texas. It's a decent show (and one of the least expensive I've ever attended). Darrell was at the Austin Show back in August.
To get in as a visitor all you do is pay $2 parking. There's no cost at the door. For tables the cost is shown on the web site.
I've heard from a number of members of the Texas Knifemaker's and Collectors Association that plan to drop by.
It may be a small show - but any knife show is worth checking out.
