Mark your calendars for 1:00pm, Sunday Sept. 23. We will go play in the woods with our sharp toys, practice our firecraft skills (somebody ought to be able to get a fire going :p ), and burn some food!

Location is just 1/2 mile off the Rt 303 exit (Exit 12) from I-271 in Richfield. And a 1/2 mile hike to our spot. EMAIL me for specific location and details.

Afterwards, we can go down to the Winking Lizard in Peninsula and enjoy their extensive menu of beers from 'round the world.

All are welcome, Hogs, Rats, Dogs, would-be, wanna-be, lurkers and others.

Ohhhh man...sounds like it's going to be another great "get together"! You guys have a great time and don't forget to bring a camera....and maybe a first aid kit.;)

FYI.....
Joe said he'd come along with me this time again.
Also, please add his name to the Ohio mailing list.
Thanks.

Man I wish I could come play. Sounds like a lot of fun. Hiking, Knives, Fire, Food, and more Knives.

READ ALL OF THIS:
I just wanted to add that is a no-holds barred type of get together, no themes, no restrictions, nothing (just bring a bit of caution with yourself! No injuries this time.). If you have a new knife sharpener you want to show off, bring it along. If your mother makes the world's greatest jello salad, and you want to bring it along do so.....
BUT BE CAREFUL WITH THOSE KNIVES!!!! Sheaths HIGHLY ENCOURAGED!!!! (pssst......Steelnut)
Last time I brought a few in zipper cases, and that works too.
All friends are welcomed. Last time we chopped, hung out, threw, tried to bend a few, sliced, diced, and ate. This time, just like last time, pretty much anything goes. I'm not the official organizer, so ask Guy if you have questions about the appropriateness of anything you may want to bring. Axes welcome too! Swords, other custom knives, whatever!
......
ALSO..... this is a short hike into the wood via practically no path (about 1/4 or 1/2 mile), I wore shorts and tennis shoes last time, but I recommend hiking boots and long pants for the brush. There's thorns and stuff out there. Mosquito repellent and possibly rain gear, if you're so inclined also. Bring what you can, but I also recommend a backpack.

One of our members will be supplying Tube Steaks; as the date gets closer we will try to get a headcount, and see who can bring other foodstuffs. As I said above, all are welcome, with or without knives. The only thing "appropriate" for this event is good, SAFE, fun!

You guys are going to have a blast. er... Or a chop rather. ;)

It looks like us So. Cal. Hogs/Piglets better get it in gear.

I might be able to make it. No Busse's that I could bring but I do have an axe that's pretty fun to swing around :)

Next weekend folks; anyone going to come play with us? I've got about 20# of Busse users for chopping, slicing, throwing. What's in your bag? :D

Email me for details.

You coming, or what? You never anwered my emails!
I have a feeling he'll be around, but whether he makes it to the camp site is a different question all together.
