You're dang right we're tough! Last time you posted before we could properly laugh at you! Hahahahaha......:D

Here is an action shot of Resinguy and Walkingman Chopping together:cool:
They all must be still at the bar?

Man, we had a lot of fun.....
Built a fire, burned some hot dogs.....
It was great. We had the fortune of having some aluminum cans there, so we could fill them with water and test our might chopping powers! :D
It was a great day of chopping, fire building, gatorade drinking, and BSing.
To anyone who didn't show, you missed out!

Had a great time, y'all. Scored a couple new knives. No injuries! No bar for me, just some road time.
Chopped trees, made fire, cooked meat. Great conversation. All was right with the world, if only for few hours. :)

Looks like a great time you all  Best of all, you got to miss the last minute jackazzitry at the Browns game  Wish I could have made the short trip to play too. Maybe next time

Oh, the Browns played today?

Yes, we had a great time. Mid 70s, endless blue sky, couldn't have asked for better weather or better company.....well, maybe better company!

The players were Walking Man, joesouth, cjpgeyer, steelnut, and your humble correspondent. We brought a boatload of steel:

joesouth is a new maker, and had a fine looking ring guard forged Bowie. Far left in the top pic. See his post here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=499619

Walking Man brought a broadsword and a short blade and was ready for action;

steelnut tried to put the hurt on his AK 47, but of course it just laughed:

Joe proceeded to drop a small tree with the AK:

I was able to cleave a standing can of water with my satin Ruck

After a little horse trading with Walking Man, I came home with a Nexus Caio and a Siegle utility Bowie, here with an SFNO for scale:

cjpgeyer shaved up some fatwood, and had a fire started in no time, the rest of us were on firewood duty. The trees we dropped back in June were nicely dried out, and gave an excuse to swing some steel. Two guys came around to fish the pond by our spot, but for some reason stayed on the other side of the pond from us.

So the lesson here, folks, is to try to find a way to organize an event for your own local Busse fan club,it is definitely a good time!

What's impressive about leaving the can standing is that it was a short 8 oz? can. A bigger can would have been easier. We were all awed!

Looks like a great time!!!

Lots of cool looking steel in that pile.

Thanks for the pics vids... always fun to see the action.

You guys ROCK! We So. Cal. boys better get it together soon. ;) Thanks for the pics and vids guys. I love the A.K more every time I see someone use it. Well done.

Looks like lotsa knives and lotsa fun!:thumbup: I wish I have a place like that to do that around here.

Glad to see eveyone had a great time. Hopefully I can make it out for one of the future events. Maybe when my work schedule opens up. Should be about 2 WEEKS.

Garth

OK, Garth, if you tell me you're coming to the next one, I'll buy the Mountain Dew!

Looks like you had a great time.........

All that was missing was Coor's Light and Clark Bars:):)

Thanks again for the great time guy's. I have got to learn this HOG language you guys speak, half the time I don't know what your talking about.

Is the long knife on the left between the ring-guard bowie and the sword some sort of Becker?
