Northwoods Cotton Samplers

Northwoods had a Special Factory Order made for Raisin River Knife Co. and I was lucky enough to get the whole set... Tortoise, Pre-Ban Ivory, Stag & Italian Jiggged Bone..

Outstanding set of knives there! I've never seen that blade shape before. The only cotton sampler knives I've seen looked like the Bose/Case Collaboration.

Thanks for the great comments, I am excited to have this set. I waited for some time to get these and have to say that Jim at Raisin River Knife Co. was nice enough to put up with me and the hundred times I asked him if they are ready yet..

I don't know for sure which Cotton Sampler Blade style is older, I have seen the older shape on Kabar, Case and S&M knives.Schatt & Morgan came out with this blade shape about 13 years ago but I'm not sure if this style was used earlier than that..?

He still has some left at his store to look at if your interested...

Yeah I know it seems a bit excessive but these four knives had this word written on the blade and opportunity was there to buy them so one thing led to another and here are the four prototype cotton samplers...
