Please Read Entire Description
I would like to be transparent as possible in the description and condition of this knife. Please read this in its entirety, look at the pictures thoroughly, then decide if this is something you'd like to purchase.
This Northwoods Forrest Jack has never been used to cut anything, nor has it been carried. I am the second owner. I purchased this knife from a fellow forum member middle of last year. He also told me it was not carried and was not used to cut anything, and by the condition of the blade and the knife as a whole, I have no reason to doubt him. This knife was however modified by none other than our friend BigBiscuit to include and Easy Open notch. Mike told me he had this work done to ease with the heavy pull required to open this knife. IN MY OPINION, this feature is an added bonus to a very nice knife. The work BigBiscuit, did is very nice...again, this is my opinion. There are the typical swirl marks on the bolsters and a tiny hairline on the shield. A pepper spot in starting to show on one of the bolsters. I tried my best to get these in the pictures, but these are so minute they wont show. I am probably being overly critical, but again...im trying to be as transparent as possible. I have no idea what "walk and talk" is (if someone wants to PM me and help me here I will be much obliged) but what I can tell you is the blade "snaps" into the half position then into full open with authority. I also see the blade centered when closed and have shown a photo. No KSF sheath is included, just the knife and its original bag...I didn't get a sheath from the original owner.
If there is anything else I can help out a potential buyer with, I am more than happy to do so. For this good looking knife, modded by one of our best, I am asking $old. This will include your paypal fees, shipping, tracking, and insurance.
For the time being I am not looking for trades as these funds will go towards another purchase.
