T thisisallen ... unfortunately as a "Basic Member", I'm pretty sure you do not have private messaging privileges.
That is likely why "Msg failed".
Not sure how these situations are otherwise handled, as I'm not a frequent visitor to the sales forum.
Perhaps L leeramundo will see your interest and figure something out. Good luck !!!

Oh and were it me, I would definitely want more pictures (that reflect fit and finish) and information about the knife ... year (perhaps stamped on pile side of tang)
Steel (not just a guess) and whether or not the KSF leather pocket slip that originally shipped with that knife is included in the sale.

Basic Members have some private messaging privileges because he wrote to me and I responded/concluded the deal.
A couple days ago I started a thread about finding one of these (or something similar) to replace the one I had bought 8 yrs ago. Perhaps I overreacted when someone alerted me that this one was for sale - I just grabbed it - and didn’t think to ask the intelligent questions you mentioned. Hopeful...

P.S. if you click the photo it connects you to more pics.

AH-HA D'OH ... I missed that, and the year (2011) is also in the thread title ... D'OH
Not sure what the steel is on that one. I thought they started using CPM154 with the 2014 release and it was something else prior.

EDIT: and it is quite possible KSF did not include a leather pocket slip in 2011 as they did with later releases. Dunno
(I own a smooth bone long pull CPM154 IRJ released and bought new in 2015)

Thx for the heads up.
According to this chart I had saved from Nick Shabazz, he shows CPM154 and ATS-34 on the same line/level, so it should be fine. It’s in his “good to go“ list. 😃

Nick Shabazz lost me as a sub when he had absolutely no idea who AG Russell was and wondered out loud if "they" knew what they were doing in regards to knife design and insinuates that the company might make unethical choices when sending him review samples.
