• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

The Northwoods' stockmen knives in particular, look a lot like what Queen makes and they even use D2 steel. Does Queen make some or all of Northwoods' knives?

Queen makes the D2 knives for Northwoods. I have a couple of Northwoods D2 knives; a large stockman, and folding hunter. Both in stag, and both with D2 blades. In terms of the patterns themselves (size, shape, blade style & grind), they're identical to the Queen equivalents, which I also have (#49 'Cattle King' stockman, #39 folding hunter). The 'embellishments' (scale material, tang stamp, shield) are the only differences. And appropriately, the Northwoods knives lack the blade etch usually seen on Queen's own knives.
