Northwoods knives

It is the most expensive knife we've ever had, that is for sure.

I'd love one, but I just can't do the cost of them. Mammoth Ivory is one of my all time favourite scale materials, but there is just no way...sad too because I missed out on the Madison Mammoth Ivory. :(

I hear they kick butt. I've wanted a Northwoods Norfolk for some time now. I'm saving up to get one. :) Thanks Derrick!

I will probably purchase the next GEC made Northwoods knife that is 4" closed or longer. Probably will get stag if it is available. I like the ivory and mamonth ivory. I was very attacted to the Norfolk, but it is smaller than I like. The QA/QC seems better than GEC's normal run of knives.

You are correct. That was the last Queen we did. We have another run of the Indian River Jacks upcoming. I signed that deal at SHOT. I am impressed with the quality Queen is putting out.

So the new run of Indian River Jacks will be made by Queen, not GEC?

Yes, queen has always made them. I think they will be cpm154 this time. They have been the utility knife of the line. These will be convex ground by Bark River.

Queen has always done a great job for us and under new management, I expect even better!

First Queen in a couple years.

Do all of the knives come with a leather sheath? I ask as my Gladiator Moose did not. It is a great knife and I could not resist it once I found it had CPM-S60v blade steel on stag handles. Laser sharp and beautifully thin blades!

CPM154 would be fanatic, I'm going to be patiently awaiting these. :)

Like the selection of blades on the whittler but would prefer the main blade had a half stop. Some might call the pull on the secondary blades weak, but they are perfect for me. Well done.

John, that has got to be the nicest looking Norfolk Whittler that I've seen yet. Really digging the pile side cover, with that rugged patch of bark. And I agree, on a knife like this one, I like a lighter pull on the smaller blades.

You really got a nice specimen of that Norflok Whittler, John. That crackle ivory is beautiful.

Thanks for the kind words. Was browsing KSF while these were popping up and the bark on the whittler pushed me over the edge. Good job on these, deserves a few more pics.

Wow. That is quite a pair of beautiful knives. Your pictures are stunning.

Sorry I posted this one and kinda took of for a while. Glad to hear so much good from the company and truly glad to hear from Derrick (good to have an owner that is actively supporting their products).

I have the KSF website and have been eyeing a few models, the Norfolk in particular.
