I had the pleasure of pulling these two Northwoods Mountain Man knives out of my PO Box this morning..One in stag and one in Pre-Ban elephant Ivory. They are a handful at 4 5/8" closed and have D2 Carbon steel.
I really like the creme color graining in this ivory.

WOW Sunburst both stag & Ivory look fine! Really gorgeous knives.You sure do have some beauties !

Sunburst, those are great shots! I have been wanting a Mt.Man for quite some time, that stag model from Northwoods might be the one. Got to figure out what to sell now!

Looks like you got 2 really nice knives there. What a catch. I really like that ivory.
 
I will always love a nice stag handle, but man that Ivory is nice. How does Elephant Ivory compare with the Mammoth Ivory in price?
 
I have not seen a Northwoods is person yet, but those are 2 very fine looking knives.

Elephant is usually much pricier since it's importation was banned. Stocks of pre-ban ivory are rare.

Those are some beauties. I'd be happy to add either of those to my collection.
 
I love the northwoods pocket knives--they have the best handle scales in the industry IMO
 
Thank you everyone for the nice comments, I have to agree with Derrick that Northwoods really has the best scaled pocket knives on the market at this time. The ivory and stag he uses is in a different class...
