Northwoods Norfolk -- Quick Review

The Stag ones are VERY nice, I really love mine! My only complaint is the pull on the secondary is kind of lite, probably a 4 at best, but that does not stop me from using it! Steven

I talked to Bill about that and basically, you just can't coax much more out of a knife this size. Once I cleaned and oiled mine, I was very happy.

I can't help comparing this knife to my mini copperhead. It has more blade on the primary which is a plus. My secondary pen is soft as well, but so are the ones on my MCHs. I am not disappointed in mine at all. The handle shape will take me some time to get used to, but it is a great size for EDC and has a very useful blade combination. Slim and very pocketable. A+ in my book.

I figured that, as I said it was my only complaint, that said I really like this knife and have two of them ( the other is an Ivory). Steven

It is a bit smaller than I had thought, compared to the TC Barlow there helps a lot, as I thought those were on the smaller size as well, but this makes it a real gentleman's type knife I'd think, a Sunday go to meeting kind of thing.

Nice knife.....I almost added it to my cart when ordering a couple of slipcases this morning! Your review is not helping my promise to not buy any knives this month!

Ernie, it's a tough battle, even owning one didn't prevent me from wanting another! Stay strong (if you can)!

Mr Somber, do you know if the Ebony is the Macassar variety? Also is yours the Dark model #31 thanks, it is a real beaut.

I have one in stag and it's been in my pocket since the day it got here. I don't see that changing any time soon. Exceptionally nice little knife!

You would have to contact the supplier of the ebony to determine where it was from. I picked mine in person, so I had the benefit of picking the one that was perfect in my eyes (realistically it was like trying to choose your favorite child).
