Hello BladeForums
! I'm selling a couple knives from my collection. I accept payment by paypal goods and of course I cover fees and shipping. USPS money orders also accepted. The best way to contact me is by email- robcelani at hotmail dot com. Messages through BladeForums are cool as well. International sales will be considered with extra charged for shipping.
I have a good reputation and excellent feedback here on BladeForums as well as many other knife related forums. I do this for fun but I conduct myself in a professional manner in all my transactions. I do my best to describe and picture knives as accurately as possible to allow you to make an informed decision.
If you want to purchase the knife, please post "I'll take it" in the thread and then contact me. An unconditional "I'll take it" by email or PM is also acceptable. Offers, questions, request for additional information or pictures, etc. are best done by email or PM. These are for sale only, please no trade offers.
SOLD - Scagel Dogwood Ivory - SOLD - $225 or best offer - SOLD
- Single Blade folder from 2010, includes original box.
- Again, rare to find any of the Scagel reproductions for sale and the single-blade folders are especially hard to find.
- This is from the Knives Ship Free era of Scagel production.
- The knife was sold to me as a regular model but after receiving it I believe it is a factory second. My reasoning is the nick on the tang that can be seen in the pictures. Also the pull on the knife is really stiff. I can open it if my nails are short but it's tight. No way can I pinch the blade and pull it open. Also there are cracks in the ivory that can be seen in the pictures.
- Still, try finding a Scagel Dogwood for sale anywhere.
- Blade is off center and does rub on one side, see pictures for details.
SOLD - Scagel #3 Stag - SOLD - $200 - SOLD
- Single-blade folder, produced May 2005, New in original Box with Cloth Bag.
- Rare to find any of the Scagel reproductions for sale and the single-blade folders are especially hard to find.
- Part of the original Dave Shirley reproductions. From my research these were limited to 200 pieces or less. These are rarely offered for sale. FYI, the most recent documented sale I could find for knife with box was on auction for more than my asking price. I don't think that sale included the cloth bag.
- Purchased from another collector and stored, never used. Some patina forming but no signs of carry or use that I see.
- Great walk and talk, has a half stop and can be pinched and pulled opened or the Scagel nail nick can be used.
- Blade is off center but doesn't rub.
