Northwoods Scagel lockback

man i love that bone, is it made by queen or gec? i bought a gladiator from ksf in 60v & it sure looks like a moose made by gec but has the arrowhead shield on the stag. my experience with gec 1095 is that it's harder to put an edge on than many other brands in this alloy. however i love the gec 1095 since it cuts forever. needless to say but the moose by northwoods cuts way past zdp but somewhat behind 90v. great to get super blade performance from a traditional styled folder.--dennis

The op blade is a final production by northfield. The newer scales are produced through barkriver (fixed blades) and gec (the fruitport and the other). The one folder to be released will be produced by queen

DennisStrickland: I wish I could answer that for you... But I have no idea... I figured it was made by Northwoods but apparently they got bought out awhile back... So Im kinda lost as to who actually did the work on this knife...it is harder than 1095 I've seen before

Checked the site again, looks like these were make by Northwoods
