Check out the Messermeister Trimit, They run about $30 at most cutlery shops and is well worth it.

I use a $9.99 Wahl nose hair shaver, takes 1 AA battery and does the trick just fine... Also cleans up easy, just run it under the tap and smack dry.

It might just be me but my panasonic electric trimmer tickles the crap out of me and makes my eyes water as a result. Cuts great but I just can't use it due to the tickle factor. I would like to try out one of the high quality manual ones to see if I can tolerate it.
