Not a fan of single blade folders.

On a typical day — and today's no different — I'll have two knives aboard. One is almost always a Vic Classic or Rambler. That's Knife 1.

This frees Knife 2 to be anything, really. So sometimes Knife 2 is a 110, a 112, a Wenger Highlander (or Standard Issue), it may be a stockman of some make or other (I have several), a canoe, a Barlow, a SanRenMu liner/frame lock — anything.

I don't know what I'd choose if I were forced to carry just one knife, and one-blade job at that. I think in that case, I'd opt for a 110, a 112, a Schrade 5OT, or a Camillus #2.

Most of the time I carry some type of two or three blade knife. Sometimes I like to slip a small single blade to in my pocket.

I mostly like single blade knives. I just find that a lot of the time, the other blades make the knife less comfortable to hold, and as long as my one blade is nice and sharp, I have no need for others.

Now that being said I do carry multi bladed knives from time to time and enjoy some of the patterns a great deal.

Also, I tend to carry 2 knives.

Part of what attracted me tp traditional slipjoints was having more than one blade. But I'm really liking the wharncliffe on my trapper hardly use the clip. So I'm kinda considering a GEC viper

they're a lot easier to open for one. another, you can opt for really long blades. i'm happy with my two-blade end-cap pioneer 23 but it's too big to carry around. i'm thinking i should have gotten a single blade 23 with a lanyard hole.
