Lost my one and only Sebenza yesterday. I was at the car wash and at some point in the process it must have dislodged from my pocket. The clip was nice and tight but it must have just worked its way loose. I went back and looked at the site and talked to the employees but it doesn't look overly hopeful.

DRK, Sorry to hear you lost your Sebenza. That's a bad deal. I thought I lost a William Henry one time but found it later. The pocket clip got caught on a cord on my coat. Maybe something weird like that happened to you and it will unexpectedly turn up.

Thanks guys, I hope I find it. I received the knife as a present from my wife and daughter a couple of years ago and it could be a while before I can get another one. I have looked through both cars with a flash light and left very few stones unturned at this point but I guess you never know.

I lost mine in the car once. I ended up taking the seat punt and found it. Good luck and I really hope it turns up.

That is a big basket of something bad. :( Here's hoping it shows up soon. :)

Make sure you also extensively check any other areas you might have been to. Sometimes I find things in places I never even remember going to. Good luck.

My Sebenza worked its way loose one night, I had a few drinks and I did not check my pocket as often as usual. Three hours with a flashlight walking around the woods and somehow I was able to find it. I know your pain and I hope you find it man.

Thanks again guys, its nice to have a shoulder to cry on. The unfortunate thing is that a bit of time has lapsed since I lost it. I didn't notice it was missing until today when I went to get it. I opened the cupboard up where I keep my knives and there was just an empty sheath there, that of course led to that sinking feeling like if it isn't in the sheath and it isn't in my pocket then .... awe crap.

I Drove over to the car wash where I think I lost it as soon as I noticed it was gone but that proved to be fruitless. I will post an add in the lost and found and see if that produces any results.

A few years ago I lost a $350 pair of sunglasses. They also where a gift, and it still bothers me if I think of it. LOL sorry that doesn't really help, but I feel your pain. I hope you find it. I also thought I lost my benchmade 530 once for two weeks! But it turned up. Stop looking for a day and see if it pops up... I wonder if whoever found my titanium sunglasses realized what they got or just threw them around like regular old sunglasses floating in a junk drawer.

put up a sign in the car wash and on electrical poles in the area, like you would for a lost dog. Offer a reward.

Thanks guys, I posted a reward at the place were I think I lost it and one in our local paper. Crossing my fingers.

I lost, (or so I thought) my brand new BM Mini Reflex about 15 years ago went crazy lookin for it for years, never really have up, every time I walked the trail in my yard where I thought I lost it is look after about 5 years I stopped really looking and wouldn't ya know it, I found it when I want looking and no where near where I thought I lost it.

Turned out when we first moved into the new house we built, while bringing boxes down to the basement for storage apparently I had to cut some you're to deal a box, when I finished I had put the knife on top of the box and without realizing it out another box on top.

It wasn't until we had a flood because of one of the hurricanes when I had to go into the basement and clean up the wet boxes that I found it.

Hope ya find it, I still constantly check my pocket for my small 21 if it's missing more a few moments in backtracking, lookin's it. One thing I've done that works out quite well, I have a length of para cord around my neck and I'll clip the Sebenza to the cord and let it hang like a necker.

This allows me to tuck it under my shirt and still gives my easy access from under our through the neck hole.

The small 21 is really comfortable and is basically invisible under the shirt...

I know this isn't knife related but somewhat on topic. When I was 6 or 7, a buddy gave me an arrowhead. Young as I was, I didn't know the difference between it and a spear point (it was a big arrow head). Tied it to a stick and when I threw it to the ground from my tree fort it fell off the stick and got lost in a huge patch of pachysandra. I looked and looked and even raked but found nothing. 10 years later after the fort was long gone I was in the same area looking for something (I forget what) and the arrowhead was sitting right where I was looking shining in the sun. It was one of the coolest feelings ever. So, if there's any hope in the world, you'll find it. Give it some time.
