Giant saw blade?
I wonder if one could design a knife which still has a few of the original saw teeth on its back or the butt end.

Cool idea but I don't think it would work in this case. Here is a photo of the saw blade from O'Katz:

.. Do you have any idea what steel the large granite saw blade is made of? ..

My guess is a L6 especially when O'Katz lab tested it and the test showed that it contains high percentage of Ni (i.e. Nickel).

I bought this old Indian knife off Ebay that looks like it was made from a saw, but probably a hand saw. The teeth were filed down so they're no good for cutting anymore. I'm not sure why the maker left them on there at all except for looks.
