Here is a table I just finished up, just cut and welded no forgework. The steel is plain mild, 3 inch wide by 3/8ths thick, it is gonna get a 3 inch thick wide plank barnwood top (i'll have more pictures when it get's put on). It has a real modern/industrial style look, but with the barnwood top it will make for a very cool look. As you can see the 5 foot connector just grabs around like a hand on the two end peices, so it can be removed and dissassembled for ease of moving the giant behemoth table, which will be 11 feet long by 40 inches wide.

Very cool. Can't wait to see the finished product.

A 4" thick slab of redwood burl would top that really nicely.

Stacy, for a peice of wood that perfect there would have to be some forgework involved!

Nathan, that's just some guy who wandered into the pictures:eek:

Thanks guys, Supposedly the top was finished today, so I should have some pictures from my friend tommorrow.
