I bought some lee valley green compound a while ago, but once I got the BRKT ones, I've pretty much stuck to them. Had a bit of trouble coating my lee valley leather strop bats and some homemade field strops with both compounds, the problem disappeared when I switched to KSF strops. Whatever they do to their leather strops really works, I don't even need to heat the compound or anything to put it on the strops.
