I keep plugging away at these Track posts hoping that some of you might post some tracks of your own for me to check out !!!!;)

Anyway I came across some faint tracks today that I was pretty sure were deer but as you can see on this first pic they are not always easy to tell....

After a bit of looking around I managed to trace the tracks back to a section of fine gravel where the tracks appeared slightly more clear as in this pic....

Surely I'm not alone in my fondness for tracks eh ?:(

Being an avid hunter, I spend plenty of time with my head down, staring at tracks. However, it is very rare for me to take pictures of them. But, since you're asking, here's a couple pictures:

Some coon tracks on the lakeshore in Valentine National Wildlife Refuge, north central Nebraska:

A few more from the same shore. Some sort of bird, probably from a heron.

And some coon tracks beside the Missouri River in northeast Nebraska.

May try to get some more tracks this weekend, will be going out hunting for small game and scouting for deer. With the recent wet weather, there are sure to be all kinds of tracks around.

Just dug up a few more. These will get you ready for winter.

Pheasant tracks and marks from takeoff on the farm:

I believe these are some mouse tracks.

Hey Rocketbomb they are great bro, I love the coon tracks in the first pic and the Pheasant track is awesome showing it take off !!!!

On the 3rd pic what do you think the small 4 toed tracks, top right and bottom right are....rat maybe, can't see any tail drag though ?

Hey Pit, your not alone. Most of the terrain I frequent is all leaf litter, so if I took a pic of the tracks I see, we will never be able to tell what it is. But alas, Winter is coming, and so is the snow.
