Well I thought I might be able to squeak a hike in today, despite the weather forecast for rain. Upon arrival to the trail head, I realized I left my camera bag at home, so I decided to rig up something. While doing that, the wind picked up and the skies darkened. So I thought, screw this, I have to do a bit of shopping anyway.
Upon going to my local Canadian Tire store (sorry, I don't know what the U.S. equivalent would be - kind of like a Walmart without clothes or food, I guess) Anyway I happened upon this and grabbed it up and thought I would share it with my keyboard cousins.
I never seen this before and I thought it was kind of neat. NO, YOU CRAZY AMERICANS, IT'S NOT MONOPOLY MONEY! Just good old Canadian currency.
OK, maybe at this point you're asking yourself, "What the hell is he posting pictures of money clips for? It is Saturday night, maybe he's in the sauce" (I am
) Well, there's a little more to it than that. Take a closer look at the clip.
What does that suggest?
The flip side:
Look a little more interesting now?
Opened up:
Note how there's a curved piece for you finger, something like a choil.
And surprise, surprise! There's even a liner lock. (sorry about the bad picture)
The whole package:
The whole thing only weighs 2.2 oz and uses replaceable blades! Now I don't know if any of you have seen this before. I haven't and I thought it could make a useful addition to a PSK.
Hey, I told you it was not another hike. Anyway, back to my rye and coke.
Doc
