Not carpal tunnel *and* not good news .

That was the first thing that came to my mind when you described your symptoms. Luckily the success for that type of surgery seems to be better than for the back. You'll do fine Yvsa. Can't keep a good NDN down. Prayers from Texas.

Yvsa, the bad news is you have a pinched nerve or two in your neck. The good news is they can fix it pretty soon I'll bet. Then you'll be in good shape. Hang in there. Before you know it Barbie will have to chain you to the porch railing to keep you from running off, playing the piano in bars, and chasing strange women. :D

Hey, aren't those firemen nice fellows? A couple of years ago my fireman neighbor was cutting my grass when he found me down in my front yard where I had fallen. He picked my gimpy old butt up and got me into a lawn chair where I could catch my breath, gather my strength, and get back up on my canes in a little while. I sure like our firemen and emergency medical personnel around here! They and our sheriff's deputies sure do take good care of people when they need help.

Yvsa, think good thoughts and soon you'll be fine as frog fur. How fine is frog fur, you might ask? It's so fine you can hardly see it, but it's there. Take care, brother.
 
Not what I was hoping to hear, but since you are right on top of it things should go faster. We'll keep you in our prayers.
