Not enough pockets?

My daughter knows the answer to the question of how many knives I am carrying - how many pockets do I have? And more than one per pocket is possible.

Cargo pants have more pockets.

I like Wrangler jeans, but also carry an Alpaka Gear cross-body sling bag. Mine is the Bravo Sling Max V2, but different sizes are available. So, between pockets and the bag, I'll typically have four or five knives with me even when in an area where locks are illegal and/or there are blade length restrictions.

I’m retired from work not play. Lol. I want to stay active and enjoy some things I’ve planned to do after working all these 45+ years. I probably don’t need as many knives as I like but then I have em so why not take them along to enjoy. Like John Wayne said, it’s better to have them and not need them than to need them and not have them. Lol
I get it.
At work I have so many other things I carry so I really only ever carry just one knife.

If I'm hunting, etc., I'm carrying at least 3.

I had all my paperwork set to retire at the end of the year, but the project we're on is never gonna make deadline, and I can't walk away and leave my boss with this.

No promises tho.
😉

I've been thinking bout retiring. im already setup finance wise. so nothing to stop me, but not sure im ready yet. I got almost 30 years in now. maybe a handful more...

when and if I'll do I'll likely still have more than one folder on me.....

I was in the same position at my job but at my last echocardiogram my cardiologist said my heart beat was irregular and pausing so it was time for a pacemaker immediately. So I’m kinda forced into retirement because I can’t be around EMIs, electrical magnetic interference and the plant where I work is full of EMIs.
I hated leaving my co-workers and boss even more short handed but I can’t do anything about it but retire. I’ll be glad once all the paperwork work is done.

I carry way more stuff than I should, but I like having it with me. I like Duluth Firehose Flex Cargo pants. There are different styles (I like the velcro closure flap back pockets), but having the flap over side cargo pockets plus smaller pockets that perfectly hold another clipped folder or whatever are nice. Enough belt loops to stay comfortable, wear well, can be had on sale frequently.

Diamond Gusset jeans are awesome and the style with extra side pocket are great.

My Dad never made it to retirement age. I just decided that 65 was my limit, and that's when I quit. I've been retired 11 years now & I've never regretted it.

thats a shame. sorry he didn't make it.

also sorry Les had to go earlier than he wanted to. funny how it works...doesn't always line up the way we want it too.

I'll probably keep working for a handful of more years. not sure im ready.
