Ouch is all I could say.
I almost sliced a flap off my right thumb because of a can lid (after the can was open) and I end up with 5 stitched on the top of the thumb. They didn't stitch the nail. I wasn't on any serious meds after the local anesthetics worn off, and it was painful at first.

You never realize how big your pinky is till you try to avoid bouncing, and hitting on stuff after you've injured it.
