Not getting automatic email notification

I've doing the "user cp" thing too.

There are probably more pressing things then worrying about subscription notifications...

Mine is out as well. My user cp says to change my email to a good one.
My e-mail always worked with the forums. I tried to change it to another one that I have.......but it didn't work.
What do I do?

Mace, the problem is not with your -- with our -- email. It's in the forum software. Spark will get it fixed.

meanwhile, just check User CP for any new responses to your subscribed threads, instead of getting the info through email.

P.S. You guys have to take the word "blade" out of the forum name. My new employer has it in a "Weapons Related" internet content filter.:grumpy:

I elected instant email notification when I joined BF and I received the emails until about April '07. I hadn't change my settings. I've tried to reset for instant email notification and though it reads "Instant", I don't get the emails. Help?

This is an old thread from 2006. The problem we had then was fixed a long time ago.

We may be having a new problem. I just looked at annr's options and she does have automatic thread subscription mode set for instant email notification.

Well, you've been having trouble since April -- the problem can't be at Bladeforums or a lot more people would have posted bug reports by now. I guess your notifications are getting caught in a spam filter at yahoo.
