The first time I saw Charles post, it was an 'I'll take it' on an RJ Martin. Another member hinted that the op ignore him because he had 0 posts and no feedback, the op responded that he had already paid etc. Since then, he has been scoring grail after grail and purchased a knife off of me, a Ferrum Forge Deuce.
When we were interacting, he picked up on the fact that I was selling it with a heavy heart and very graciously offered to take a refund. Obviously, he had no obligation to do so at all, but offered out of empathy, stating that he would hate for me to be out a knife that I highly enjoyed. He got the knife (a month or so later, because he was in Korea).
We have continued talking afterwards, mostly me admiring his ever growing collection of grails. He emailed me the other day and said that he is going on another extended trip and would prefer for me to enjoy a few of his knives rather than them sitting collecting dust. I offered that I would like knife a OR knife b --- he said I'll send you both. I PayPal him for fully insured shipping, he sends it back.
I am in no way suggesting that he's going to send you a grail on his next trip haha, but I am highly suggesting that you connect with him in some form or another. Truly a magnanimous, extremely friendly guy.
