I ordered an ARC AAA flashlight over one week ago from pocketlights.com and it still has not arrived. The say they ship Priority Mail. It should have been here today at the very latest, but still no flashlight. This is my first order with them and I am VERY disappointed in their service, if you can call it that. Does anyone get good service from them? :(

I didn't care for them.
Very high pressure.
I received an e-mail saying that an item I'd ordered was out of stock and when I e-mailed them back to cancel the order they got all pushy.
"Why didn't I want to wait?"
"Why was I in such a hurry for it?"
"Would I not cancel if they expedited it and got it to me in so many days?"
They must have sent at least 10 e-mails and then they called my house.

I believe that fellow, mostly under his keychaindefense incarnation, has been banned from a handful of boards for breaking the advertising policy. I won't order from him, because of that.

I find the posting style the "Pocketlights" guy over at www.CandlePowerForums.com uses is very "pushy" with too many links to his sites and not enough views and reviews. I'd never buy from any of his sites. Personal opinion. I already have a very fine flashlight dealer - The Prince.

Hello everyone,

I read your negative posts and would like to set the record straight. In regard to ShadowBinder's order, I made a mistake. I shipped his order late because I misfiled his order for the Arc AAA with the back-order pile of Arc AAA LE flashlights. I personally apologized to ShadowBinder with an e-mail and a voice-mail and offered to give him a free Gemlite on his next order. We normally ship orders the day we receive them or the following day. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us and we will do our best to rectify the situation.

Sincerely,

David Kochan

Hello,

I successfully bought from www.pocketlights.com and www.keychain-tools.com many flashlights and knives for my friends in Poland.
(inova x5 tactical, many CMG infinity's, Arc-LS, Arc-AAA LE,...etc, dozens of flashlights)
They are cheap and reliable. The packages with gadgets was sent via Global Priority Mail and arrives within only 6 days to Poland.
Some flashlights like Arc-LS and Arc AAA Limited Edition are very hard to buy and other shops often haven't these flashlights too.
(try to buy Arc-AAA LE in brightguy.com, glowbug.com or tadgear.com - it's almost impossible) :(
I'm waiting for next flashlights now and i'm happy (many of my friends too)
Sorry for my english but i came from Poland.
Regards

In October, I ordered 2 CMG Reactors and 1 CMG Infinity Ultra, from Pocketlights.com. I got them very quickly and am happy with their service.

Guys, snafus happen occasionally, no matter who you deal with.

Hello Everyone ,
New to this forum . Thought I would pass along my experience with pocketlights .Com. I made an order and did a follow up call to ascertain the status of my order. All I got was a message saying that the mail box was full. First thought was "oh boy, here we go". I tried contacting them over several days and got the same response. I also sent four e mails asking asking for a status check on my order. No reply. Now I try and bring up their website and it is down. Doesn't set well with me I must say. They took my money of course. Taking money and not delivering the product or even responding to a customers request for a status check is taboo in my book. My experience with this outfit has been bad thus far. I got this sinking feeling in my stomach that it is not going to get better either.

I guess back in 2002 these sites were legit, but now these sites will scam you.
I ordered from keychaindefense (owned by the same guy of pocketlights) in September 2007. A few days later I got a call from my credit card company asking about credit card fraud and they said my CC# was being charged from many different internet sites. I got my money back and cancelled the CC.
Like this user said from http://www.badbusinessbureau.com/reports/0/255/RipOff0255245.htm , this company does not have any real products and they will just steal your CC#.

Hello...well well well, look at all the unsatisfied PocketLights.com customers.:thumbdn:..I ordered a flashlight from them (Kochan Consulting Group) and have not received it; I've called...and called....and called, only to hear "mailbox full"...I've e-mailed over and over, with no reply....

If David Kochan is reading this, here's my info:
reference #: 4069E354-4798CC35-543-2320C (placed 1-26-08)
name on order: Aaron Worley
item ordered: PLSK5 Kiliminjaro 5 LED flashlight
shipping address: po box 2608 Galveston, TX 77553
Mr. Kochan, please complete my order...

If David Kochan doesn't read this, can anyone advise me on how to proceed with some kind of recourse? I've contacted my bank, and they've said all they can do is cancel my debit card: in order to do that, I have to be without the card for 10 days, until they mail me a new one, and I really can't do that...
I apologize for using the forum this way, but I'm desperate and fed up!!
Many thanks to forum members, Aaron Worley
