Nice looking knife.

Endgrain often looks great, but rarely will hold up. If doing end grain, putting a liner of thin G-10 or similar material bonded to the back helps … a little. It is best to use zebrawood quartersawn.

I did notice the massive pores when I received the blanks. By the looks of it I was able to fill most of the pores with the superglue/sawdust. I guess I'll find out soon how poorly the handle performs, since it's being used in a wet environment every day. In your experience is filling those pores a good way to prolong the useful life of the wood or is it just an aesthetic thing?
