Not quite bacon... but...

Well, it is that part of the pig that bacon is made of, so it could qualify

So, it is a roughly cut pork belly with some garlic, herbs, wine in a slow cooker... Did I mention WINE ? I slightly changed the recipe, nearly whole bottle goes in, aside from the few sips I take to check if the wine is good enough for it and when liquid level needs to be regulated...

Bacon and Eggs here for Mother's Day.... hard part is to get the "kids" cooking it for her... their bloody tails end up in the eggs....
