This is not the prettiest knife I have ever made but does it ever fit the hand! It is surprisingly light for a large knife because of the tapered tang and blade.

Forged from 1/4 inch 5160
Flat Grind
Hand sanded to 400 grit on the blade
Forge finish on the flats
Distal tapered blade
Tapered tang
Rosewood handle
Overall length: 13 1/2 inches
Blade: 8 1/2 inches
Weight: 12.8 oz
Riveted leather scabbard

$175 ____SOLD____delivered to the US or Canada. My PayPal account is gldrewknives@yahoo.com I will also take your check with time to clear or USPS money order.

That's a knife any of our frontier ancestors would have been proud to carry. It reminds me of contemporary pictures of the early Bowies.

Gerry, that is cool and a real mans knife. I could do with something like that, speak with you real soon.
