Not receiving confirmation E-mail

Hi there,
I have a friend from another forum that is trying to become a member here as well, but he can't complete his registration process as he hasn't received a confirmation e-mail yet.

The reply message after generating a username and adding an email account said it should take short time until a confirmation email was received, but it's been 4 days now.

Should I contact a moderator here? What can I do so that he is able to join us and become a BF member?

The mods can't do anything to further along the process besides doing a little troubleshooting...Like asking if he has checked the spam folder in his email.
The only person that can do this is @Spark, but I am sure that he will need some information such as the username.
