Not sure I like Sharpshooter sheaths...

Hope I did not offend you Derrick by sending them direct,But one thing I have notice no matter what your selling(I am in sales as well) You can not please everyone and there are plenty of leather benders on BF to build them what they want .

One reason I love the KSF leather pants for the RC series is the Price...most will find out leather work is kinda high but the wait is longer, LOL !

nope...no offense taken. Not every product is for everyone.

The RC-4 won't fit into any of the bushcraft sheaths.

Thanks for the reply Derrick.
The reason I was asking is that I was guessing that maybe I wasn't the only potential buyer that would appreciate more of a natural appearance. The more you make leather mimic Kydex regarding color and indestructibility, the less it seems like leather. Once that occurs the inclination, for me at least, is to pass it by for cheaper man made materials.
I hope my remarks haven't appeared rude in any way because my intent was just to learn options and to communicate preferences that might be shared by others.:)

That's the one thing that makes me so proud about this forum: when we occasionally say something that is taken out of context this group is always quick to correct it and apologize. I think humility is the first quality that everyone should possess before becoming a public speaker (be it internet or otherwise). I think any man can be judged by the humility that resides within him. Always being right is not an exceptional quality in my opinion. Appreciate you guys.

nope. I understand completely.

We are good.

In fact, by going with the treated leather, we were trying to build a bridge to the RAT Cutlery knives from the more traditional lines we carry. It has worked well. We have lots of cross over customers now!

I'll talk to Reid about RAT sheaths a' natural.

Damn cool Jeff, damn cool. I have to admit, being new here I really dig how you hang with the boys and will talk the smack. You have never come off as aloof or separated since you are after all a principle of the company. In all honesty that was a big factor in why I have become such a huge RAT fan literally over night. With out trying to sound like a sap, thanks for being true, standing behind your products, and standing with those products in hand in the field always trying to offer us the best.

I must say, this place is nice and civil, without having to hold any opinions back.

Its a good balance.
