I bought 2 glowrings from a guy off Candlepower forums.I got one that I ordered from him in 2 days. The order for the 2 was shipped on 9/21 and it is now 9/28 and no sign of them.I emailed him and asked if it was alright with him and that nither of us was at fault if he would send me 1 to make up for the 2 or if he wanted to wait a couple of more days.I also said I would send him payment for the one if they happened to show up later.Have not gotten a reply yet.
Anyway I guess I want to know if I am being fair to him asking him to do that.Do you think I offended him? What would you do?

How did you pay for the glowrings? If it was by credit card what I would do is this: I would email again saying that you would like to get a response to your inquiry and that if he does not respond with a given period of time you are going to ask your credit card company to reverse the transaction and charge back the vendor.

Once a vendor accepts your money it is the vendors resposibility to make sure you receive what you paid for. The glowrings should have been sent with signature confirmation. If the vendor did not do this then that is his problem and you should not be made to pay for this mistake. If on the other hand you requested the cheapest possible shipping then you will have to accept the responsibility for not being able to prove that you did not receive the package.

Personally, I would not have asked the vendor to send me a glowring to make things right. If you can prove that you did not receive what you ordered then you should get replacements for both glowrings, if you can't then you should look at this as a lesson learned.

Hopefully the glowrings will show up next week and you will be able to put this behind you.

I payed through paypal.I just got a email from him and he wants to wait a little while longer to make sure they are not being returned to him. Thanks for the info.
He is not really a vendor, just a guy that is selling them.10.00 each includeing shipping.Thats why I would not feel right about asking him to make up both of them.

UPDATE!
Just got here, must have gotten hung up somewhere. The stamps were not post marked, asked the mailman about it and he said it was really odd and that it should not have taken over 3 or 4 days at most.
