Not sure where else to ask - where can I source Ti tubing?

I'm looking for the best deal on some titanium tubing, in a common drinking straw size. I checked a few online vendors, and the 3/8's size seamless with a medium wall thickness (for the diameter) is about $62+ S&H for 36 inches. Is this about as good of a deal as I can get? I understand materials purchasing and that more material is less cost per foot. I"m only doing this as a home hobby, not to resell, and so don't need a lot of tubing.

The most obvious place to look is eBay. There is some in that size listed for a lot less $$.

I did check there, but the listings I found had very thin walled stock. I know it's nothing structural, but I don't want it to get crushed in a pack or something on accident. I may have found something decent at a titanium place from "Joe"

I don't know what you are planning, but .037" wall thickness is pretty strong stuff. Well, whatever.
