I don't remember what I had in mind when I came up with this profile. Utility hunter? It is .094" thick. I have seen puukkos about that thick.

Put a Coke-bottle handle on it?

What is the steel and finush on the blade? You could put on some translucent scales to show off all those holes you driled into it.

Translucent - nice idea, had not thought of it.

That is just the oxidation from heat treat. It is A2.
 
Maybe a black coating for rust protection and some translucent G-10 or maybe a thin C-tek or some sculpted kirinite.
 
Where to go with it...?

Well, you can go directly to my address with it once it's finished... A nice burl handle would be nice. Love me some burl... Or maybe snakewood?
