+1 for mixing it up a little. Plus every collection needs an axis lock.

True that and the 746 is a great sample and since its discontinued one can pick
it up for a discount. Just got the blacked out version about a month ago. Now
looking to pick up the satin bladed one.

I have both the P'kal and the Mini Onslaught. Make no mistake, the P'kal is a purpose built knife , but it can also make a decent utility folder. If you want a slim, light weight folder , it might be worth your consideration.

But IMO the Mini Onslaught is more of a workhorse and if you're a knife knut you owe it to yourself to try an Axis Lock.

I don't know if the BM Bone Collector was mentioned , but it's usually a little cheaper than the Mini Onslaught and I think it's even a better choice for a first-time BM knife. I have about a dozen BM knives and the BC was the least expensive and my favorite.
