That was a dangerous statement about Mrs. Allomes. Some people (wimmin) around here look at that as a challenge. Ask Cobalt.

Don't just look behind you. Look above, below, around, left, and right too. They're cleverer than they make us think they are.

Well, as it turned out, it was an old order for an AD that I cancelled, and it was pulled up and they thought it just hadn't been filled yet. They told me they'd credit my card right away, and to just send it back. Why WHY did I have to open the box??!! It fits my hand like a warm beenie baby, and looks so pretty next to my fighter...
This is why I avoid pet stores--I'd walk out with a puppy every time.
Anyway, I'm keeping it, and Kassi's keeping my money. I did commend her on the clever selling technique she'd hit upon. You know, with the "mistake" and all...

Permanent press cycle in the clothes dryer...a certain dog of mine had attacked the stuffed animal collection of a certain wife of mine, necessitating a laundry run. If you've never held a warm beenie baby, go pick up an AD. It's just like that.

I am sorry for your trouble and to make it up to you and your lovely wife, I will gladly take that nuisance of a blade off your hands... and I will pay the shipping. Your monetary contribution to the fund was to have relieved you of the trouble of actually having to risk your own epidermis by handling such a dangerous instrument. The INFI should have come directly to me and not been routed to your location at all... I am sorry for the inconvenience and please express my sincerest regrets to your wife... she has been extremely understanding thus far.
