NOT THE YOJIMBO!!!! Do the REACTOR, PLEASE!!!

I agree...the thumb-on-top-of-the-blade hold is great for fine, precise control during cutting but it is, in my opinion, very uncomfortable when thrusting into anything but soft matter. I also feel that, with an awkward or powerful thrust, the knife can 'pop' loose from your grip if torqued or twisted slightly the wrong way. Not my cup of tea for a sudden and/or violent encounter, but then again I only have a few years training and little 'real-world' experience. YMMV.

Of course, I'll still have to get a Yojimbo when it comes out...every good knife deserves a home! :D
