Ok as far as gadgets and gear I have a couple of things I can sell here that are just collecting dust.

One is a broken used Sony Vaio PCG SR17 notebook computer. This has all the paperwork, the CD for Windows ME and the manual. It was bought new by me in 2000 mid year. The motherboard is bad in it. It turns on and boots up but it will shut itself off in just a few minutes time from problems with the MB and the fan. The hard drive is not functioning right but I've been told this is due to the mother board not providing it the proper voltage or something. Anyway Sony said it can be fixed but I am opting to get rid of it.

I thought maybe someone would be able to use it for the keyboard or the monitor maybe. I also have a CD-ROM drive for it that is like new and hardly has a mark on it. This part of the machine is fine and can be used. The model of it is PCGA-CD51/A and its a separate unit that can probably be used with several other computer models in the Sony line up.

If anyone wants all this for $200 let me know. I'll pack it up and mail it off to you. This thing was $3100 new so I think if someone is into refurbishing they can maybe make a go of it. It has two good power cords, two good adapters and one battery that probably needs replaced.

I also have a Celestron C5 Telescope with base. This is a hardly used scope. I have the 35mm camera adapter, the erect image diagonal 1.25" eye piece, and three lenses and a sun filter as well as the remote for the star tracking unit. It was over $2000 when bought. First guy that wants all of it for $500 takes it all. I've been told I could get that for the base alone so I think this is a good deal for someone. Maybe a student or something.

Pay pal preferred. Pics available upon request.

Thanks

I forgot until looking that I also have the short Barlow lens that mulitplies the magnification for the telescope with whatever lens you are using in it. The magnification is x2 and I also made a mistake on the filter. It is a moon filter not a sun filter. I went ahead and did an inventory of all figures and items to be clear so here it is.

The figures I have here for what each item cost me from the reciept show that both the 12mm and 15mm Meade lenses were $99.95 each.

The Meade Barlow was $54.95

The Meade Moon Filter was $27

The Meade basic camera adapter was $44.95
and the adapter for our specific Camera a Pentax was $16.95

The Celestron erect image diagonal was $48.60

The C5+ telescope was $1267.92 which altogether totals $1660.27

I also bought a rolling stand and tripod for it when I got it. Both those items together were $269.89 but I'm not including those in the sale since they are used for our camera more than they ever were for this scope.

I think that is everything except the tax we paid which was like $94 bucks all total.

So, I was correct in the total being over $2000 at $2024.16 but when you subtract the rolling stand and tripod it is actually $1754.27 that I have in what is for sale here for $500. Its still near new in condition and was bought new by us in May of 1995.

Thanks for looking. Oh, and by the way. The wife says if we can't get $500 for all this we'll just donate it to a special needs school or something to take it as a tax write off.
