Nothing but class, whats in your pocket.

I'm pretty much at the opposite end of the spectrum, I hate carrying a bunch of shit in my pockets. I understand the being prepared thing and it makes sense. At absolute max I have folding knife, the smallest of wallets, cell phone, and if I going somewhere I got to lock the car, a single key w/fob remote. Right now for around the house I have a folding knife.

The irony of it all is that I am usually wearing cargo shorts. I don't like to wear a belt due to my advanced case of dunlap's disease and with my vitamin deficiency (noassatall) too much weight in my pockets means my shorts fall to my ankles.

As far as a fire starter goes, why would I want a fire, it's already hot as fire and there is nothing here that would burn anyway.

On the other hand, all my vehicles are well suited to the environment and survival.
 
My EDC doesn't change much, the only thing that changes day to day is which knife I'm carrying.

1. Watch - Citizen Eco-Drive Chronograph. I think it's the Chandler model?

2. Pocket knife - One of these 5 in my RFP: Benchmade 940-1702, Spyderco Manix 2, Spyderco Techno, Kizer Ursa Minor, and ZT 0562cf

3. Flashlight - Does the light on my IPhone count?

4. Daily carry fire starter - Huh?

5. Fix blade when your carrying a belt knife. - Esee Izula with G10 scales from The Knife Connection, horizontal carry at 11 o'clock

6. Do you wear para cord bracelets or Leatherman bracelets? - That's just WAY too "tactical" for me...
 
Since today is a workday, my EDC gear is much less fun than on the weekend but here goes....

4. Daily carry fire starter - Bic Lighter

As for a watch, I collect them and have about 30, some of them a bit pricey. But my everyday wear is my retirement watch from the Sheriffs Office. (36 years) Its a Seiko and is also inscribed on back with my name and years of service. I also carry one fixed blade, a small Swiss Army, usually one pocket knife, a small led flashlight, one or two guns and a jewelers loupe.

1. I currently dont have a watch but I do want a Movado series 800 chrono with the blue face. Not sure which exact model but I love it. I worked for movado for a couple holiday seasons. So probably the model that was available for 2014,2015. Hopefully it's still made so I can buy it in November.

3. OLIGHT M2T Warrior. Got it at bladeshow for $$49 an awesome deal had to buy it. EDC it currently

4. Daily carry fire starter- only when camping. I use a firesteels.com armageddon. Has a big ass orange handle. And living in new England that sticks out unless its fall. Performance is as expected. Excellent.

5. Fix blade when your carrying a belt knife. This varies as I'm a maker. Only really carry a fixed blade when camping. But recently it's been my APEX EDC model in Zwear. Need to make myself one. Love it.

2. Pocket knife - around the house (I work from home) a Zancudo in D2; otherwise keychain knives (SAK Classic and Gerber Dime) plus a Case Peanut and a SAK Compact (which I'm trying in place of the SAK Climber I've used for many years)

3. Flashlight - around the house, a Nitecore EC11 with EC21 head; otherwise keychain lights (Olight i3E and Fenix E01) plus a Jetbeam Jet-1

4. Daily carry fire starter - brass zippo, plus Bic

5. Fix blade when your carrying a belt knife. - usually don't

6. Do you wear para cord bracelets or Leatherman bracelets? - no
 
1. Omega Seamaster or cheap Luminox when camping or on vacation.

2. Could be one of dozens of folders from Steel Will, Case, Buck, Spyderco, Benchmade, ZT, etc.

3. Flashlight - I wear a Fenix Headlamp a lot and have small lights on my keychains.

4. Daily carry fire starter - Quit smoking, so no lighter. Cheapie BBQ lighters to start campfires.

5. Fix blade when your carrying a belt knife. - ESEE 4 mainly

6. Do you wear para cord bracelets or Leatherman bracelets? Paracord sometimes, but rarely.

5. Fix blade when your carrying a belt knife - EDC: mostly a Bradford G3 - 3v, but it varies...
Outdoors: usually LT Wright Genesis - Scandi - A2 (also varies depending on tasks)

6. Do you wear para cord bracelets or Leatherman bracelets? - Nope. Considered the Leatherman though...

1. Don't own one.
2. Small slipjoint, varies from day to day. Yesterday was a Victorinox alox Cadet.
3. Fenix E-15 in my work bag, not in my pocket.
4. None. I don't smoke nor need to start fires.
5. None. I don't carry belt knives.
6. No.

I go the same route as you. I have one nice watch and I wear it. Then I carry a bunch of knives with me incase I ever have to defend that wrist watch!

  1. 1. Watch. Cheap Timex Expedition. 2. Esee Avispa or Victorinox SAK with magnifying glass. 3 Sometimes a Coast 300 lumen head lamp. 4. A bic lighter. Can't stand firesteels and primitive fire methods when they are not required. 5. On rare occasion I carry a Mora 546 but in general do not carry a fix blade. 6. No paracord or Leatherman bracelets.

I have most recently been wearing a small fitbit - as I am on a health plan through work and they are monitoring my sleep and activity, while I am logging food and exercise.

My wallet is a Pulp Fiction Bad M-Effer - my son bought it for me as he knows that is my favorite movie.

I have a key-ring that has an old craftsman 4-blade screwdriver and a JK pry tool.

Belt knife? Usually a JK, Busse or my ZT0180.

The 0180 is a very underrated knife. Great steel, great design. I hate that it got disco'd, but I'm hoping ZT does some more fixed blades in the near future.

It's like a "pick just one" for several things. Lol

1. I can't pick just one, I just love dive watches - almost any and every, right now I'm wearing my Seiko Spring Drive Marine Master 600M GMT Ti

2. Fred Perrin Mini-Pic around my neck right now and a cheap Chinese micro knife in D2 in my fifth pocket.

3. No, waste of precious pocket space, my phone has a flash that can be activated as a light if I ever need it... Never have.

4. No, just no. I'm not crazy, nor a prepper, which is the same thing. Maybe if I worked in the forestry service. Probably not even then.

5. When going outdoors, Terava Jääkäripuukko without question. Day to day in the city, another mini 3" Chinese D2 junker that's fixed, cuts and is beautiful.

6. I was going to type up a big thing about following trends and how I don't do it, but I could totally see myself doing a Paracord bracelets some day because it's just handy.

Perfect egos and they nailed the heat treat. Only thing I needed to modify was opening up the gap between wave plate and spine... Dropped spine 1-2mm and it waves flawlessly every time.
