Nothing lasts forever (paid subscription pricing increase)

Hey guys, all good things come to an end, and after decades of keeping the prices for paid subscriptions as low as I can, I need to increase them a bit to cover continuing server & support expenses.

Prices are now as follows, annually:
Gold memberships: $40
Platinum: $75
Basic: $15
Knifemaker: $100
Hosted Knifemaker: $300 up front but lasts for 3 years
Dealer: $450

I've shut down banner ads for the time being as well.

I appreciate your support over the years and helping us stay open.

Yeah turns out that the prices were from mid -00s. 18+ years or so. Sucks but that's the economy for ya

Thanks for holding the line for as long as you did and still keeping the lights on here, Spark . Much appreciated. 15 bucks is a modest increase for platinum after no change for 18 years and won't break the bank.
